Wow, it is hard to believe that Alexa is two! Even with me recovering from surgery, we had a great day. Grandma Ede was visiting from Kelowna to help me recover and helped make Alexa's day special. In between rest periods I made Alexa Dora cupcakes (she is consumed with Dora and Diego right now). She was super excited when she saw them.
Turning 2 also brought on the big girl bed. We went to the store for Alexa to choose her bedding. She REALLY wanted Diego bedding but finally settled for a Diego chair and the Dora bedding. Here is a peek at her room. She is very excited to be in a big girl bed.
Before Grandma left we thought we would celebrate her birthday too. Here is everyone with Grandma's cake.
Naleah was extremely sad to see Grandma go. Grandma spent a lot of time with Naleah playing barbies, polly pockets and littlest pet shop. Thanks for coming to help us Grandma, we miss you tons.

Abby has the Dora sheet set too! (Not the quilt, though...) Greg bought it for her, he's a sucker for that little girl! ;)
Looking forward to hopefully seeing you this summer (which I just realized is only a few weeks away, wow!).
