Our new house (at least if feels that way)

Here is a glimpse into what our new basement/upstairs looks like. I am so proud of Steve and all is hard work. He did everything himself, even the electrical. (he did let me paint a bit, scrape the floor and do some priming :) ) He even pulled up the old carpet himself (with the girls help). It is so nice to almost be done... light fixtures, baseboards and ledge to go. I think both of our favorite features are the archways, Steve did them all himself too. He is awesome. ~ To get the real experience of how great this all looks/feels you will have to come and visit and see for yourself.

A work in progress... Steve pushed back this wall, moved a door, created two new doors and a few archways.
Pulling up the old carpet upstairs ~ from 7lb underlay to 22lb what a difference ~ below, the new underlay

The new look upstairs (new couches too, they are chocolate brown, so the girls call them the chocolate couches). This is also Kisha's new favorite hang out (those are her glowing eyes)

One of the three archways downstairs. this is the play area (the wall colors are blue accented with Navy)Another archway and the entertainment room. Steve is loving it.

Looks awesome Lisa. Maybe I will take you up on your offer and come see it and you, of course, in person. A coffee stop in Airdrie is always one of the highlights of my trip home. Getting home being the other highlight.
