Naleah's dream kitchen

Oh to have the faith and dreams of a child...

So Naleah found a picture of this kitchen today and asked, "Mommy, please please can we get this?"

Me: um, no honey it is too big for our house.

Naleah: well, we can put it in my room, or at Christmas we can have a fire and then build a big big house and then put it in there.

Me: um, honey, I don't think God has called us to have a big house.

Naleah: oh, well, can we get it anyways, it can go in my room.

Me: honey, I think it costs too much money, we already have a kitchen, we need to be thankful for what we have.

Naleah: but Kristen gave me money the other day, please can't we get it?

Me: Naleah, that was only 1.25 it will buy you a chocolate bar. Maybe you should ask Grandma.

Naleah: okay

So... Grandma, here is the picture of Naleah's dream kitchen that she would like to put in her bedroom, or if our house burns down put in our new big big house.

Nice kitchen, Naleah...but I really don't wish that your house burns down! If faith can move mountains then your Mommy better start packing up things that are precious to you and putting them into storage so that you don't lose everything.

Your cousin Andrew's Gramma

Grandma, maybe you could apply to ABC for an Extreme Makeover for the Klassy 5...is there such a thing in Canada?

Sandy, please don't let any lawyers know that the burning down of our house is already in the planning stages :)

Uh, I wonder which "grandma" Naleah was thinking would buy it for her :) In her mind, either one (or both) would probably suit her just fine.
It is a very fine kitchen though -- maybe she talk with her grandpa's!

Hey; maybe Naleah's Grandpas can build this for her in her very own playhouse and Grandmas can add their personal touch by decorating and painting :)

Now that would be fun wouldn't it, Naleah?!?!?

Gramma Sandy can dream up all kinds of girly things...she doesn't have any little girls to build things for yet...maybe in September...hmmm

Sweet! I'm pretty sure Hallie and Raya would LOVE to play in that kitchen!
